McMullen Architecture is a New York City based practice specializing in high-end residential, retail, and cultural projects. We approach each project as unique opportunity for innovative collaboration between architect, client, craftsperson, and site. We believe that diverse perspectives, sensitivity to context, and sustainability create better designs. Brett McMullen attended the University of Michigan's Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, where he was a recipient of the Raoul Wallenberg Studio Award, and the University of Minnesota's School of Architecture, where he received the Leon Arnal Memorial Scholarship.
After completing his graduate degree coursework, Brett relocated to New York City where, over the past 14 years, he has completed many high profile residential and retail projects throughout the country as an Associate at MR Architecture + Décor. Much of his work has been published in leading national design publications and monographs.
Brett is licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey, and California, is a Certified Passive House Designer, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
